The Inside
Paradoxically, despite being (according to many religions) as close as one can be to their interpretation of the divine, the inside is one of the most twisted places in the known world. While many believe the space below the tarnished god's surface holds untold riches and knowledge, few dare to venture inside, for prolonged stays in it's interior have almost always led to a complete loss of contact with the expedition force that did so. Playing an even bigger part in instilling fear and aprehension in the general populace however are the stories of those that DID return, albeit just barely.
Below the overgrown metallic surface of the ancient structure, a vast network of connected interior spaces spreads throughout. Architecture older than civilization itself, designed with long forgotten and incomprehensably alien functionality in mind, with the ability to be traversable more of a coincidence than anything.
However, the Inside is not simply the interior to some ruins. It is known to be a dangerous place, inhabited by creatures varying from monstrous to things so esoteric the term "Creature" only just barely fits the description. They however have one thing in common: not only are all of them dangerous, but the very environment itself can be just as hostile.
